The company is owned and run by Rowena Wood CMIOSH. She works in association
with a small group of consultants sharing a common goal; to provide clients with health
and safety solutions that are relevant, achievable and sustainable.

Rowena originally trained as a nurse, spending much of her nursing career at the John
Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. She developed an interest in occupational health early on in
her career, which eventually led to an occupational health advisor role at Kodak. This
provided a valuable insight into occupational health and safety and from there Rowena
continued to develop her skills, moving into the arena of safety management by taking on
a health and safety role with a private airline. This eventually led to a senior health and
safety management role with an engineering company specializing in research,
development and manufacture of automotive racing engines.

Prima is supported by a number of other consultants who have a wide range of expertise
and knowledge. Between them they have over fifty years experience in health and safety
and each has their own area of expertise and corresponding professional qualifications,
enabling Prima to provide clients with access to a wide range of services.
